Our origins
COVERE² is a Research and Innovation initiative co-funded by the European Union through the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT Food).
The project is led by the University of Helsinki and carried out by a consortium of partners - Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology (MCAST), Vitagora, and ELEKS, running from 2023 to 2025.
COVERE², which stands for COllecting, VErifying, REducing, and REporting toward Net Zero.
Built and validated in the agri-food sector, it is a scalable solution designed to drive sustainability across industries.
