As Europe advances rapidly through its green and digital transformation, building strong sustainability and innovation skills has never been more important. At COVERE², we are committed to supporting this transition by providing organisations with high-quality, practical training and workshops grounded in real-world expertise.
We are therefore delighted to share a new podcast episode published by the 4InnoPipe project, another EU-funded initiative in which we participate, focused on strengthening education for Europe’s green and digital transition.
Recorded at the University of Helsinki, the conversation features Xenia Duffy, member of the COVERE² Scientific Advisory Board, together with Dr. Lyubomyr Matsekh, Lead of Sustainability Consulting at ELEKS and member of the COVERE² team.
A Deep Dive Into Sustainable Business Models
The episode explores how organisations can rethink their value creation through sustainable business models, a topic increasingly central to EU policy, investor expectations, and corporate transformation strategies. Xenia and Lyubomyr discuss:
- why sustainability-driven innovation is becoming a competitive necessity,
- what practical challenges companies face when transitioning,
- how digitalisation and data can accelerate sustainability adoption,
- and what skills will be essential for professionals navigating this shift.
Their conversation connects closely with the core mission of both 4InnoPipe2 and COVERE²: equipping Europe’s workforce with the capabilities needed for resilient, future-proof, and sustainable business practices.
Coming Soon: A New Workshop for the COVERE² Portfolio
Xenia has been delivering workshops on sustainable business models for many years, supporting organisations in understanding, designing, and implementing sustainability-oriented strategies. We are pleased to share that this well-established workshop will soon be available through the COVERE² service catalogue, allowing organisations to request it directly as part of our expanding learning portfolio.
This addition will further strengthen our offer of hands-on, practitioner-led learning experiences aimed at preparing organisations for the regulatory, economic, and innovation challenges of the next decade.
